Definitions

This is a good activity to practise definitions.

-Make groups of 4 people more or less.

-Look up a word which they do not know.

-They have to write a believable definition and you have to write one too.

-Collect their definitions and read them aloud together with yours.

-They have to vote for the definition which they think is the good one. They cannot vote their own definition.

-They get 2 points for every group that votes their definition as good and they win a point if they guess which the correct definition is.
