This activity consists in reconstructing a text after hearing it.

Students will listen to a text, either read by you or played on the CD player. After listening to it once students will have to write the ideas they have heard in the text.

After this first step, students will listen to the text once or twice and they will have to reconstruct it trying to produce a text which is as similar as possible to the original one.

They can share their first notes with some other student to try to compile as much information as possible.

Finally, working in pairs the students will have to write the text again trying to be as accurate as possible in comparison to the original text they have heard before.

Finally, project the original text for students to compare it and correct their own mistakes and thus be aware of the mistakes they have made.
