Song Lesson Plan
Here is a lesson plan I have prepared for my students. It is made for a class with 20 students.
The song I have chosen is Mr Jones by the Counting Crows. (Above)
The first thing I have done is cutting up the lyrics into 20 pieces and giving one to each of the students. Once they have them I will play the song and they will have to line up in the same order as the lyrics are (this is the noisy moment of the class). You may need to play the song twice.
Once they have ordered the lyrics, pass them a copy of the song with mistakes (below) and tell them to listen to the song again and correct the mistakes they find.
To end up with the song play the
Karaoke Version
and sing it.
Hope you enjoy it!
