Organise Students into teams. Each team has ten blank pieces of paper. At the top of each piece of paper they write a word. They underline this word and write three words underneath that they would use to describe it. Do one as demonstration, eg.

Each team passes its then cards to another team. The cards are placed face down on the table. The first student turns over a card and defines the word at the top to his / her team. They cannot use the three words under the line. If the team cannot guess the word, they can leave it. The next student then takes the next card and so on. The winning team is the team that can succesfully define the most words in three minutes.

Instead of writing the words in groups, you can also make them do it individually.
